Journaliste, plasticienne, curatrice mais aussi musicienne originaire du Koweït, Fatima Al Qadiri use de nombreux médiums pour aborder des thèmes aussi forts que la violence policière et l’insurrection des peuples. Son dernier LP “Brute”, électro mystique aux beats puissants, traite ainsi du concept d’autorité, de ses abus et dérives.

 

Golshifté Farahani

 

Fille de l'acteur et metteur en scène Behzad Farahani, la magnétique Golshifté Farahani a tourné avec les plus grands réalisateurs de Christophe Honoré à Ridley Scott. Mise en exil par le régime Iranien, suite au film “Mensonges d’état” dans lequel elle apparaît non voilée, l’actrice oscille entre Hollywood et la France, entre blockbusters et films d’auteurs ponctués de pièces de théâtre comme la sublime adaptation par Gaëtan Vassart d’“Anna Karénine”. 

Hayv Kahraman

 

Hayv Kahraman est une artiste irakienne vivant à Los Angeles. Du dessin à la peinture en passant par la sculpture, elle dépeint avec force la situation de soumission que subissent les femmes dans son pays natal. Différents récits et expériences traduits en peinture et notamment exposés à la Saatchi Gallery à Londres et la Third Line Gallery à Dubaï.

Negar Azimi

 

À la tête du magazine culturel ”Bidoun“, élu ”Meilleur magazine international”  aux Independant press awards, Negar Azimi dévoile l’avant-garde artistique venant du Moyen Orient. Pour “Bidoun”, elle collabore régulièrement avec des personnalités talentueuses comme MIA et de grandes plumes telles qu’Ohran Pamuk.

Sadaf H. Nava

 

Sadaf H. Nava est une artiste performer de New York née en Iran. Grand nom de la biennale “Performa”, la jeune artiste place la musique au cœur des ses créations, entre trap persienne, dancehall venant du Ghana et kuduro angolais.

Yasmina Benabdelkrim

 

Yasmina Benabdelkrim est une styliste issue de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne. Après avoir fait ses armes chez la célèbre créatrice Diane Von Furstenberg, elle est désormais styliste pour différentes publications et personnalités de renom de la mannequin Mayka Merino à l'artiste Petite Meller. Yasmina a également assisté la grande styliste américaine Patti Wilson.

Her latest LP “Brute” is awash with mystical electro imbued with powerful beats that deals with the concept of authority, its abuse and downward spirals.

Golshifté Farahani

 

Daughter of actor and director Behzad Farahani, the magnetic Golshifté Farahani has worked with the biggest names in the business from Christophe Honoré to Ridley Scott. Exiled by the Iranian authorities following her role in “Body of Lies” in which she appeared without a headscarf, the actress oscillates between Hollywood and France, between blockbusters and indie films punctuated with stage plays such as Gaëtan Vassart’s sublime adaptation of Anna Karenina.

Hayv Kahraman is an Iraqi artist living in Los Angeles. Using drawing, painting and sculpture, she portrays the realities of submission suffered by woman in her homeland. Her stories and experiences are translated in paint and exhibited at the Saatchi Gallery in London and the Third Line Gallery in Dubai.

Negar Azimi

 

Head of the cultural magazine “Bidoun”, named Best International Magazine by the Independant press awards, Negar Azimi uncovers the artistic avant-garde of the Middle East. For “Bidoun”, she regularly collaborates with talented folk such as MIA and serious writers like Ohran Pamuk.

Sadaf H. Nava

 

Sadaf H. Nava is a New York performance artist born in Iran. A big name at the “Performa” biennale, the young artist puts music at the heart of her creations with sounds that trip between Parisian trap, Ghanaian dance-hall and Angolan kuduro.

Yasmina Benabdelkrim

 

Yasmina Benabdelkrim is a fashion stylist trained at the Paris Chambre Syndicale de la Couture. After having fine-honed her talents alongside designer Diane Von Furstenberg, she became a stylist for different fashion and music personnalities and styled the model Mayka Merino and the artist Petite Meller, she also assisted the famous American stylist Patti wilson.
