Pharrell Williams and Ssense unveil their collaboration with an immersive installation

American singer Pharrell Williams, behind the skincare label Humanrace, unveils his first collaboration with the e-shop Ssense by presenting an immersive installation in Montreal, as well as new products and exclusive collections.

While the British house Burberry collaborated with Ssense for a capsule collection as well as an immersive visual experience last June, it is now the turn of Pharrell Williams and his skincare label Humanrace to partner with the e-shop. As part of this unprecedented collaboration, they unveil an immersive installation, entitled “House of Humanrace”, in the Ssense space in Montreal. Inside, the public will be able to discover until September 30 a series of arrangements dedicated to the label, including the presentation of the products, a sculpture created for the occasion by the artist-photographer duo Scheltens & Abbenes in collaboration with Edward Robinson, artistic director of Humanrace, and finally the honoring of personal objects of Pharrell Williams chosen by his friend, rapper Tyler, the Creator.

Although this installation is located more than five thousand kilometres from France, it is still possible to find its content on a dedicated website, made up of exclusive videos, images, photographs taken by Scheltens & Abbenes as well as the same objects belonging to the artist. On the occasion of this collaboration, Humanrace’s genderless skincare range will also be on sale on this site, including flagship products such as the rice powder cleanser, the lotus enzyme exfoliator, and the moistening cream. We will also be able to find the range of clothing resulting from the collaboration between adidas and Pharrell Williams, as well as their latest sneaker model: the Humanrace Sičhona. Finally, a capsule collection has also been designed especially for the collaboration between Pharrell Williams and Ssense, including a jacket, a T-shirt and pants with a minimalist design.

The products as well as the immersive installation are available on everythingelse.ssense.com.
